2. Go for a swim in one of the national parks
Choose from Darwin’s many swim spots! You could go to the Litchfield National Park or choose the Mataranka Hot Springs.
Getting from Darwin to Litchfield National Park is very easy, and you’ll be able to do a day trip.

3. Visit the Tiwi Islands
Go and visit the Tiwi Islands! This small collection of islands – Bathurst and Melville Islands. Tours to the Tiwi Islands help you learn more about the Indigenous culture of Darwin. The most visited island is about a 45-minute ferry journey away from the port of Darwin.
