Things to Do at Wangi Falls

Things to Do at Wangi Falls

Wangi Falls is home to plenty of walks. If you start from the Wangi Plunge Pool, there is a trail that takes one hour to stroll along, taking you along the top of the falls and promising spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.

Elsewhere, there is a three-kilometre track that takes you up and over the falls and loops back round to the car park.

There is a well-maintained picnic area close by to the falls, where you can sit and eat while watching the water from the two falls cascade over the ancient rock escarpments, joining the plunge pool below.

When the conditions are right, the plunge pool is a great place to take a refreshing dip against a backdrop of beautiful monsoon rainforest. There is a kiosk and a camping ground on-site, too, where you can take a hot shower and set up a barbecue.
