Crocodylus Park is a must-see attraction when visiting Darwin.
Filled with hundreds of crocodiles, Crocodylus Park is dedicated to research and conservation. It also features a gift shop, cafe, and the Croc Museum, which is filled with all things crocodile related. Getting to Crocodylus Park
Crocodylus is located along McMillans Road in Knuckey Lagoon. There is plenty of parking available onsite; alternatively, you can be dropped off by Uber or taxi. If you choose to use public transport, the best option is bus Route 5.
Wildlife to see
You will undoubtedly encounter a variety of crocodile species during your visit. In addition to crocodiles, the park also features a selection of other wildlife, including mammals, birds, monkeys, and reptiles.
Keeper talks and activities
Keeper talks and activities take place at certain times throughout the day. Check online or inquire upon arrival to find out which ones you would like to attend so you don’t miss out! These talks and activities are included with a general admission ticket.

Crocodile feeding
Crocodile feeding occurs 3 times a day, allowing you to witness just how high saltwater crocodiles can jump for food. The keeper will share fascinating facts about the crocodiles and their breeding.

Jumping crocodile cruise
Enjoy a cruise along the human-made river system that is home to over 40 saltwater crocodiles. As you cruise along the river, try to spot the various crocodiles as they gradually approach the boat for feeding.

Monkey feeding
Come and watch the cheeky monkeys as they jump around their enclosure in excitement during feeding time. The keeper will explain the monkeys’ diets and share interesting facts about them.

Reptile handling
Reptile handling offers a great opportunity to hold a variety of reptiles, including the black-headed python. The keepers will provide facts about the different reptiles and demonstrate the best ways to hold them gently.
Encounters
Crocodylus Park offers special encounters with some of the wildlife. Choose from 1 of 3 different encounters that allow you to get up close to the animals and learn more about them.

Meerkats
Spend 15 minutes playing with and feeding the cutest meerkats. This is the best opportunity to ask the keeper any questions you have about the meerkats and take as many photos as you would like! Participants must be at least 4 years old.

Marmoset monkeys
Meet the cute and mischievous marmoset monkeys at Crocodylus Park! These small monkeys love to get into mischief. This encounter allows you to interact with and feed them for around 15 minutes, and you can take as many photos as you like. Participants must also be at least 4 years old.

Dingoes
Get to know some friendly dingoes at the park. These Australian dogs love a good cuddle, and during this 15-minute encounter, you can take plenty of photos. However, participants must be at least 10 years old.
